There is a lot of story here, all of it rough hewn and in need of strong polishing. The author, Christopher Webb even admits it. And yet, there is a power to these tales you often don’t find in professional work. They are game write ups, but Webb takes the time and effort to at least make them look a lot like stories instead of news reports.
And they are the result of years of work; setting up the adventures, running them, then fictionalizing what were, for all intents, real world events. For that is the great contradiction of RPGs, that fictional worlds can produce authentic happenings.
Thought I’d let you know about Webb’s world, and the characters created by a collaboration between Chris and his players. You’re welcome to comment on the stories in the forum, and drop Christopher a line or two via email.
I think you’ll enjoy the stories of Bilbus the Great and the rest of the crew. See you in the forums.
